Input on age and breed and neutering at a young age

Does this puppy look to be a lab, a golden, a lab/golden mix, or none of the above? How old does the puppy look? I was planning to adopt him but I just found out he would be neutered first. I'm a little concerned now adopting a puppy that is getting neutered this young. Any wise counsel from my golden friends?
